During my first year at Roundhouse, I had the opportunity to dive face-first into an 8-bit world of caffeine, pineapple guava, and a whole lotta color. Many pixelated blood, sweat, and tears went into illustrating this world and preparing it for animation, including walk, jump and fly cycles, scrolling backgrounds, and storyboarding to make the process seamless on a very tight budget and deadline.
